UW-BSC Continuing Education offers a variety of non-credit fitness courses for students and community members.

EARLY MORNING MIX

Register Online 

If you like to get up and go in the morning, or at least feel better when you do, this is the class for you! Join Tennille for this upbeat mix of cardio and muscle conditioning with free weights, body bars, fitness balls, and more. Get your heart pumping and give yourself a boost of energy to help you through the day.

Tuesday & Thursday mornings • 5:30-6:30 am (4 weeks/8 classes)

ZUMBA GOLD

Zumba Gold® is for first-time or deconditioned exercisers, seniors, or anyone who has wanted to try Zumba but would prefer an easier-paced class.

Wednesday mornings • 10:10-10:55 am (6 week sessions)

EVENING BOOT CAMP

Try this workout to challenge yourself and create a new more fit YOU! Join Krista as she motivates and encourages you through an intense array of cardio, strength, agility, and core workouts. All fitness levels are welcome, but be prepared to be pushed to YOUR limit to maximize results.

FIT BARRE

Develop the length of a dancer and the strength of an athlete with this 60- minute ballet barre workout. This is a high energy/no-impact exercise class that combines barre work and light weights. You will build long, lean muscles, and burn fat while having a great time. No dance experience required. Please bring a mat or towel to class, along with a water bottle.

BELLY DANCING

Learn figure eights, shimmies and beautiful veil movements in this class, designed for those interested in a fun, low-impact way to strengthen core muscles and move their bodies in a whole new way. Yoga pants or shorts and tighter fitting camisoles or t-shirts are recommended attire. Jingle hip scarves are optional! This class is for fun and fitness with no public performances required.

FRIDAY MORNING WAKE UP YOGA

This combination of gentle yoga postures and breathing will help awaken your mind, stretch your body, and calm your soul. Improve your balance and increase your positive energy. Improve your circulation and experience better mental clarity. This Hatha-based yoga class is designed to keep you moving from one pose to another in rhythm with your breath. The focus is on natural movement, core strength, and breathing, to help you start your day on the right foot.
