UW-BSC Continuing Education offers a variety of non-credit fitness courses for students and community members.

 

Winter Spring & Summer 2015 Fitness Classes

EARLY MORNING SUMMER BOOT CAMP

Register Online 

Try this outdoor morning workout to challenge yourself and wake up to a new more fit You! Let our boot camp instructors motivate and encourage you through an intense array of cardio, strength, agility and core exercises. All fitness levels are welcome but be prepared to be pushed to YOUR limit to maximize results. Classes meet outdoors (weather permitting) or in the fitness studio or gym.

Tuesday & Thursday mornings • 5:30-6:30 am (4 weeks/8 classes)

Discount Time!  Sign up for ALL 3 Summer Sessions (and pay before for all 3 before session 1 begins) and get a $25 discount!  How?  Sign up online and select the "pay by check option" to save your spot, I'll apply the discount once I see your registration, and then you can sign back in a pay by credit card/or send a check.

Summer Session 2: June 30-July 23rd
Summer Session 3: July 28-Aug 27 (No Class Aug 4 & 6)

FRIDAY MORNING SUMMER WAKE UP YOGA with TATSIANA

This combination of gentle yoga postures and breathing will help awaken your mind, stretch your body, and calm your soul. Improve your balance and increase your positive energy. Improve your circulation and experience better mental clarity. This Hatha-based yoga class is designed to keep you moving from one pose to another in rhythm with your breath. The focus is on natural movement, core strength, and breathing, to help you start your day on the right foot.

Fridays • 8:30-9:30 am (6 week sessions)

Session 3: May 1-June 5 (6 weeks for $40)
Summer Session 1: June 26-July 17th (4 weeks for $28)

ZUMBA GOLD

Zumba Gold® is for first-time or deconditioned exercisers, seniors, or anyone who has wanted to try Zumba but would prefer an easier-paced class.

ZUMBA TONING

Body sculpting meets fitness party!  A calorie-burning, strength-training class with the same great Latin and international music you love from regular Zumba class.  You'll learn to use light hand weights to enhance rhythm, build strength and tone all the target zones (weights provided).
