Looking for some outdoor fun during the weekend? Visit Devil’s Lake to embrace your adventurous side! Hiking bluffs, camping, and renting kayaks are just some of the fun activities you can do there. Looking for less adventure and more relaxation? Hang out at the beach or have lunch at one of their many picnic tables. Unmatched surroundings and fun activities at Devil’s Lake are calling, so finish that last assignment and grab your friends for some local fun.

2. Trek the Trail at Parfrey’s Glen

Embrace your inner explorer at Parfrey’s Glen. In this gorge located near Devil’s Lake, you will find beautiful foliage, quartzite boulders and a stream flowing throughout. Though these trails are advanced, they are well worth the effort. Just be careful if you choose to go beyond the marked trail. You will have to hike along the water and jagged stone.

3. Make Memories at Mirror Lake

The views of the lake from the trails are breathtaking, and this is definitely a must see during your time at UW-Baraboo/Sauk County.

4. Discover Delight at the Dells

Lake Delton

If you’re in Wisconsin, visiting the Dells is a must. There’s plenty to do for everyone! You can visit one of the many water parks, go on a tour of Lake Delton, take an antique photo with family, go shopping and so much more. Embrace your inner tourist by trying all the candy shops downtown. Just make sure to give yourself an entire day or weekend to take it all in.
