PANEL TO DISCUSS HISTORY OF UW-BARABOO/SAUK COUNTY CAMPUS AND FEDERAL CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTION OXFORD
Former administrators, instructors and students will share stories of the many years faculty from the UW-Baraboo/Sauk County (now the UW-Platteville Baraboo Sauk County) taught multiple courses inside the Federal Correctional Institution in Oxford, WI. The partnership ran from 1984 until 2009.
The discussion will be held Friday March 15 from 12:30-1:30 pm in the T.N. Savides Library on the UW-Platteville Baraboo Sauk County campus.
Panelists will include retired faculty, at least one former student, and former officials from FCI Oxford.
Confirmed panelists include Bob Davidson, formerly of FCI Oxford; Ken Grant, Annette Kuhlman, and Issac Solomon who taught in the program from UW-Baraboo/Sauk County; and Ryan Ramnarce, who participated as a student.
This panel is part of the Shared Spirit Friday Forum series, a monthly public lecture/discussion series on Friday afternoons in the UW-Platteville Baraboo Sauk County library. Light refreshments will be available.
