For Community MembersThe CollectionCommunity patrons are also welcome to use the resources available in our library. We can issue a Community Borrower card that allows items to be checked out for up to four weeks for books, one week for other materials. Our electronic resources are only available for onsite use. Borrowing from UW-Baraboo/Sauk County LibraryMaximum number of items that can be checked out is 5.
$3.00 maximum is per item. Lost Items - All items are considered lost and billable after 60 days past due date. There will be a $60.00(books)/$50.00(audio/visual) + $15.00 processing fee + fine for each lost item. Arrangements can be made to replace lost item with an EXACT replacement purchased by the patron. No one may check out library materials if two or more items are overdue or maximum fines and lost item fees have not been paid. Maximum outstanding balance is $3.00. Overdue notices will be sent out 4 days after item was due. Second notice will be sent 7 days later. Reference serviceThe library staff is available during regular library hours to answer your questions, to help you get started on your research, and to show you how all our electronic databases work. We are also available by phone at 608.355.5251 and via e-mail.
Borrowing within the 13 Two-Year Colleges CampusWe offer interlibrary loan services amongst the 13 two-year campuses. From a UW Colleges campus The library catalog (http://collib.wisconsin.edu/) contains the library records of all 13 UW Colleges Libraries. If you would like to borrow an item from another two-year campus, open the item record and click the "Place Requests" button on the top navigation bar. You will be prompted to enter your ID number and last name. Make sure to select the campus where you would like to pick up the item. You should soon receive a call or letteril confiming your request. The item will usually arrive at our campus in 2-5 days. Stop by the front desk with your ID to check it out.
We do not offer interlibrary loan services beyond this at this time. Please check with your local public library for this service.
