We are headed to the Marshfield area! Our fist stop is Jurustic where Clyde Wynia, creator of the park enjoys paleontology and re-creates excavated creatures that inhabited the nearby marsh during the “iron” age! The “Hobbit House” features Nancy Wynia’s hand blown glass jewelry. Next, we will take a look at the largest round barn in the world, followed by a tour of former governor William Henry Upham’s house built in the 1880’s. The home represents mid-Victorian architecture at its finest. We will end our day at the Rudolph Grotto Gardens, home to five acres of gardens and shrines including the Fourteen Stations of the Cross and Seven Sorrows of Mary. Don’t forget to journey through the Wonder Cave, with 26 shrines, based on the catacombs of Rome.
