Interactive Driving Under the Influence Mock Arrest

Lecture Hall A4
Tue, Oct 29, 2013, 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm

The Campus Counseling Center will be sponsoring an Interactive Driving Under the Influence mock arrest, field sobriety test, and subsequent court appearance.  We will be looking for four volunteers from the audience to be persons of interest riding in the “party car” while wearing impairment goggles to simulate the sense of alcohol or drug induced impairment.  We will have special guests that day to assist in this interactive demonstration, a Sauk County Judge and a Sauk County Sheriff’s Deputy who will be performing their roles as the arresting officer and the judge presiding over the court appearance.

This demonstration will not only cover questions about driving under the influence of alcohol but other substances as well, whether it be pot, street drugs, or prescription drugs.
