A Community Focus

Community

UW-Baraboo/Sauk County truly is "Your UW." From free lectures, trips, and youth programs to professional development, fitness classes, and arts and cultural events, community outreach is a large part of our mission.

Each year, Continuing Education (CE) conducts more than 150 non-credit programs, serving approximately 2,000 participants. CE also collaborates with UW-Extension and area community groups to offer small business workshops, Middle School University, the Wisconsin Writers Conference, and a variety of other opportunities for all ages.

In addition, UW-BSC is host to gallery exhibits, theatre productions, film screenings, lectures, and concerts throughout the year. The local economic impact of the campus is estimated at nearly $8 million annually.

Whether or not you've already taken part in our community outreach programming, we hope you'll browse through this section. You're sure to find something that catches your eye.
