Student Government Association (SGA) is the official student representative and legislative group on campus. SGA works with faculty, staff, and students on a wide range of campus-specific and system-wide issues. They also help develop the annual segregated fee budget, which funds all co-curricular activities including varsity and intramural sports and all other recognized student clubs and organizations.
SGA elections are held in the spring for the following academic year's President, Constitution and Elections Chair, and two Student Senators. In the fall, the remaining six seats are elected. You don't have to be an elected member of SGA to participate in SGA meetings or activities.
