UW-Baraboo/Sauk County Summer Session Registration Now Open

UW-Baraboo/Sauk County is now accepting registrations for its 2013 Summer Session. From film studies and astronomy, to public speaking and the history of rock and roll, a variety of classes are available. Special field courses in archeology and outdoor leadership are also being offered. 
“Our summer session is an opportunity to earn university credit quickly and conveniently,” said UW-BSC Associate Dean Tom Neal. “It is a great option for students who are currently attending college here or at another campus, students who would like to get a jump-start on college, or those who are simply interested in broadening their horizons.”
Registration is now open for the following:
Session 1: May 28- June 14 (3 Weeks)
•AST 100 - Survey of Astronomy: TR, 5:30-8:55 pm
•MAT 113 - Trigonometry: MTWRF, 9:00-11:00 am
Session 2: June 17-July 26 (6 Weeks)
•CTA 103 - Intro. to Public Speaking: W, 5:30-8:55 pm
•ENG 277 - Film Studies: MW, 9:00 am-12:30 pm
•HIS 208 - The Film as Social History: TR, 9:00 am-12:40 pm
•INT 290 - Special Topics in IS: F., 9:00-11:20 am 
•MAT 110 - College Algebra: MWF, 9:00-11:30 am
•MUS 278 - History of Rock & Roll: TR, 9:00 am-12:40 pm
•PSY 202 - Introductory Psychology: MW, 9:00 am-12:40 pm
Leadership Field Course: July 7-12
•HES 226 - Leadership in Adventure Education & Outdoor Pursuits (1 week in Colorado)
Archeology Field School (June 10-July 19)
•ANT 370 - Archeology Field School: (4 weeks in Trempealeau, WI, followed by 2 weeks in Baraboo)
