As as active professional in private industry, I love to bring real life examples to my students. My background of course is accounting and I have served the banking, construction, financial services, retail, and manufacturing industries. In all jobs as a Chief Financial Officer and/or Corporate Controller, I have been responsibile for managing people. Human capital is financial in nature as human capital is the biggest risk of any business today. My class focuses on the practical applications of accounting to manage information for internal and external stakeholders.
