Marc Seals has been an English professor at UW-Baraboo/Sauk County since 2006. Prior teaching experience includes being on the English faculty at the University of South Florida; teaching middle-school English and drama in Tallahassee, Florida; teaching high-school English in Bainbridge, Georgia; and teaching literature in the Upward Bound program at Florida A&M University. He has published articles and delivered papers on Ernest Hemingway, Raymond Chandler, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Neil Gaiman, and others.
Dr. Seals lives in Baraboo with his wife Bridget and his sheltie Grendel. He enjoys disc golf, cycling, cooking, and watching football and baseball. He still prefers the snows of Wisconsin to the hurricanes of Florida.
