Bachelor of Liberal Studies
This fully accredited bachelor’s degree program was one of the first non-traditional degree programs in the United States. The Leadership Development program includes both online courses and evening courses, which are designed to equip you with the leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills you need to succeed in non-profit organizations, government, or business.
Leadership Development

If you are a busy, working adult seeking a leadership position in either a public- or private-sector organization, this program is built for you. Through the UW Oshkosh Leadership Development program, you’ll learn:

Degree Requirements
To earn a Bachelor of Liberal Studies degree with an emphasis in Leadership Development, you will need to complete courses in four areas:
General Education courses: 35-45 credits
Liberal Studies core courses: 18-27 credits
Leadership Development emphasis courses: 33 credits
Elective and/or Minor courses: 15-34 credits
Liberal Studies degree with Leadership Development emphasis120 credits

Getting started is often the most difficult part. If you've been out of college for several years or the prospect of studying and taking tests seems overwhelming, contact us. Our advisors will help you develop a plan to reach your goals.
Whatever your situation, advisors will work with you on a personalized plan to get you off to the right start. Typically, students will have completed their general education credits (freshman and sophomore courses) before entering this program. However, if you have earned some college credits from one of the University of Wisconsin Colleges (the two-year campuses) or another college, you may qualify to enter this program.
